We don’t only ask what we can put into a formula. We ask what actually belongs there. The Bobo’s Standard is the philosophy behind how we build every product we make — today and as the brand grows.
It started with a simple question we kept asking while researching the pet supplement market: why is this ingredient here? Too often the honest answer had more to do with flavor, texture, appearance, or manufacturing than with the reason someone bought the product.
Four principles behind every formula.
Purpose Over Filler
A longer ingredient panel doesn't make a better product. We build formulas around the ingredients that serve the purpose of the product, rather than adding more to make a label look impressive.
If we can't explain why it's there, we question whether it belongs.
What We Leave Out Matters, Too.
Formulation isn't only about what goes in. Dogs are individuals — an ingredient one dog tolerates perfectly well may not be ideal for another. So we pay attention to the whole formula, not only the actives.

Know What You're Giving Them.
You shouldn't have to decode marketing language to understand a jar. We publish what the important ingredients are, why they're there, how much is included, and what a serving is.

- Is the customer told how much they're actually getting?
